Our monthly prayer service held at the heart of Westminster open to all CCF members and their guests. Prayers for the Nation is a time to gather to pray for MPs, Peers, Parliamentarians and our Government.
Each month the CCF hosts Prayers for the Nation – a prayer service in the Chapel of St Mary Undercroft bringing together Parliamentarians, Charity and Church leaders to focus on and pray about an issue, a campaign or a legislation that they are championing. Parliamentarians who attended and spoke at recent Prayers for the Nation services include the Rt Hon Alistair Burt MP, Harriett Baldwin MP, Fiona Bruce MP, Jeremy Lefroy MP and Baroness Elizabeth Berridge.
This month we are joined by international children's charity World Vision. Established in 1950, World Vision now operates in almost 100 countries. Their model works with local communities, partners and supporters with the aim to improve a child's health, education, water, protection and sources of family income to help build brighter futures.
Tim Pilkington, CEO of World Vision and members of World Vision’s Policy Team will be speaking at this event.
Join us on the 12th February to hear more about their work.
This date also coincides with “International Day Against the use of Child Soldiers” which has also been spearheaded by World Vision, we will follow this theme for both Prayers for the Nation and Westminster Briefing. To learn more about World Visions work in this area click here:
